Bachelor's Degree in Special Education

Special Education at CCU

CCU’s Special Education program prepares you to address the special challenges associated with students who have learning or physical disabilities. The School of Education integrates faith and learning, training you how to excel as a teacher, as well as a believer who shares God's love with students every day. Taught from a Christian worldview, CCU’s Special Education program helps develop you as an educator who is dedicated to addressing diverse learner needs with excellence, through servant-leadership in your field and in society. Small class sizes encourage individualized learning and networking, and allow you direct access to professors. Highly qualified faculty members equip you for teaching careers in all subjects, educating you so you can educate the leaders of the future. Graduates from this program also automatically earn emphases in reading, language arts, and social studies, in addition to their education degree.

What can you do with a degree in special education?

Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.
 – C.S. Lewis, British novelist, poet, academic, literary critic, theologian, broadcaster, lecturer, and Christian apologist (1898–1963)
